Kelly Burgess ‘18 MFA
Born in 1986, I spent the first seventeen years of my life in Connecticut and, after a brief stint in central Virginia, moved to Massachusetts in 2006. After 12 years in Boston, I currently live and work in Vermont.
In May 2018, I received my MFA from the Massachusetts College of Art and Design. My thesis was a self-published book titled Sing Me Back Home. I am currently exhibiting that work while working on a new, yet to be titled book. I received my BFA in Photography from the Lesley University College of Art and Design (formerly the Art Institute of Boston) in 2009.
While not photographing, I am a photographic educator, an indoor gardener, and an avid reader. I prefer to travel by car or by foot to try to see as much as possible.
